Clicker Default Screen
Learning Experiments
Launch Date

C21U and CTL evaluated and piloted several audience response systems – commonly referred to as “clickers.” Audience response systems facilitate active participation in classes. Students use a physical clicker device, a laptop, or another mobile device to submit responses to questions posed by the instructor. The answers are immediately recorded and displayed on a classroom projection screen, providing an opportunity for further discussion and consideration. After several pilots, the team decided to upgrade to the latest version of our existing solution, TurningPoint. The updated solution allows for Canvas integration, single sign-on, and lower costs for students. In fact, TurningPoint is now free for students using the mobile app to submit responses.
