Auzita is currently a second year Master's student in Human Computer Interaction in the Interactive Computing specialization. She received her Bachelor's in Engineering in Computer Engineering in 2014 and was focused on machine learning. She is focused on user experience research and design and her interests include online communities, educational technology and ubiquitous computing.
She is currently working with the Center for 21st Century Universities (C21U) to help create the Online HCI specialization for Georgia Tech. Her current research also involves exploring a new genre of informal learning technology in the authentic, complex environment of a children’s museum catering to a diverse population of children (ages 4-8) and their families. The technology will involve an intelligent virtual agent that could potentially be used to facilitate learning in other museums catering to different audiences. She is an officer of the Interaction design association at Georgia Tech and has previously volunteered for organizations such as Girls Who Code and ScholarMatch.
