The College of Lifetime Learning’s Digital Learning Technologies team helps Georgia Tech faculty and staff implement digital learning that is effective, supported, and secure by integrating tools into the systems students and instructors already use. We collaborate closely with campus partners to design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions.

If you have a tool, workflow, or learning experience that needs to connect to the Institute learning management system (Canvas), course/roster data, identity, reporting, or credentialing infrastructure, our team can help you architect the integration and deliver a path to production.

What We Do

1) Integrate Institute learning systems

We build and maintain integrations that connect the LMS to institutional systems and operational workflows. Our team has maintained critical Canvas-connected infrastructure for years, including the enroller that synchronizes Banner with Canvas and course-level tools that streamline course management.

2) Build and sustain Edu-Apps that solve real teaching and learning problems.

Our team develops and maintains a portfolio of Canvas-connected tools—our Edu-Apps—that support instruction, administration, and the student experience.

3) Provide solution and technical architecture for educational technology projects.

When a unit needs to adopt, connect, upgrade, or rationalize learning tools, we support solution and technical architecture by drafting the solution or providing specialists who implement the tool or connection correctly.

How to Engage: Three Service Levels

To support campus needs more consistently and at scale, we offer three levels of engagement:

Advisory (Consulted)

You have a team and resources to deliver, and you need integration guidance, architecture review, and solution design. You manage your own build; we help you get the approach right.

Managed (Hybrid)

We provide the solution and pair with your team or coach your engineers to ensure proper implementation, especially in the areas where we specialize — Canvas/LTI integrations, data flows, and deployment readiness.

Custom (Full Delivery)

You want our team to lead the planning and execution of the solution we co-design — from intake through delivery — when the work requires deep LMS integration, institutional coordination, or sustained support.

Who We Are

The team’s application development capability includes dedicated application developers who build and maintain C21U’s Canvas-connected tools and integrations; data analysts who deliver analytics and modeling capabilities, including dashboards and machine-learning model work; and a director who leads project management and strategy.

We coordinate closely with campus partners (e.g., OIT Digital Learning, Registrar/Banner support, identity/data stakeholders) where solutions require institutional alignment and operational handoffs.
